Tillermark raises $400K from Sequoia Capital.

Nine months after we started building, Sequoia Capital is backing our idea that every commerce team deserves a clear, evidenced next move.

The short version

Sequoia Capital has invested $400K in Tillermark. It comes nine months after Tillermark was founded, and it goes into one thing: getting Tillermark into the hands of more commerce teams, faster, while keeping the product honest about what it knows and what it doesn’t.

What Tillermark does

Commerce teams don’t lack data. They drown in it. Tillermark sits across the tools a team already uses, from the store and support desk to carriers and team notes, and works in four steps:

  • Notice. A short, ranked list of what actually changed, instead of dozens of alerts.
  • Explain. Every signal opens into its evidence: the numbers, the tickets, the notes, and the causes that were ruled out.
  • Act. When there’s a clear next step, Tillermark drafts it and sends it to the person who owns the decision. Nothing happens without their approval.
  • Remember. Each decision is linked to its result, so the next one starts from what worked.

Why it matters to us

  • More connections. Deeper coverage of the tools commerce teams run on, so fewer signals fall through the gaps between them.
  • Faster setup. Getting a new team from first connection to first useful signal in days, not weeks.
  • Trust by design. Evidence on every answer, a confidence level on every suggestion, and a person approving every action.
